Stu da Phew Ponders

So I have this nephew, Stuart. He's now six and very verbal due to his parents talking to him in full sentences since he was born. Two of his first words was, "infrastructure" and "shock absorber". Nothing important like his name or phone number.

He is the product of my twin sister and brother-in-law. Sister is blonde and blue eyes, Bro-in-law is black hair, brown eyes. Stu is bright red hair, green eyes. Hmmmm. Niece of said union is Chinese, but that's another story.

Stu comes up with some pretty funny stuff that I saved. All of his comments have been up to the age of 4 because after that he just comes up with typical bathroom humor, most of which I've heard before.

So I called Stu last night. I said, "Stu, what's new?" He said, "Heidi, I hurt my butt." It was explained by Mom that he was doing butt drops on his bed and missed, falling off the bed. After the explanation, he said, "Heidi, there are no Band-Aids for my butt; there aren't any big enough."

Mom, Lily, Stu and I went to see Erhardt for the weekend in Jan. '04. I had made the mistake of saying something funny to him in the bathroom once. We were sitting around the living room and I walked by Erhardt and said, "Oops", to which Stu asked, "Squeezed one out?"

I asked Stu what days he went to preschool. He said Thursday and I asked what other days. He replied, "Thursday and then the next Thursday after that."

I brought Stu to work one day. He burped and when I asked him what do you say? He replied, "Nice one."
